Alphabet "e" in Indonesian has 2 ways to pronuonced.
*First, soft "e", as in word "belajar", it's pronounced like "e" in English word "verb" or "으" in Korean.
*Second, hard "e", as in word "komentar", it's pronounced like "e" in English word "comment" or "에" in Korean or "え" in Japanese.
In Indonesia, soft "e" & hard "e" is only written in "e". So, we have to learn the pronounciation of the words those include "e". Don't worry, we don't have to think hardly about that, it will be naturally understand if we practice to listen to more conversation in Indonesian, then we will master it.
FYI, there's no soft "e" in Japanese, that's why I think it's a little hard for Japanese people to pronounce it, but again, don't worry, a singer from Japan, Haruka Nakagawa can do it. I like her sounds in Japanese & Indonesian :).

Hello everyone. Today, I wanna talk about why I decided to learn Korean.
Before I learn Korean, I used to learning Japanese. Compare my listening to these two languages, I listened more to Japanese sounds than Korean sounds. I listened some Kpop songs, but I wasn't interested in Korean because of that, but because of watching an amazing Korean variety show "Running Man (런닝맨)". It's so simple, I wanna know a real sense of their speaking.
